JACK ANTHONY MARTIN It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Jack Anthony Martin on Sunday, August 15, 2004, at the St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 79 years. His passing was peaceful and in the company of family and friends. A resident of Winnipeg since 1969, he is survived by his wife May Martin; sons, Glenn and Vaughan; daughter Debra Sandler; sisters, Irma (Joyce) Probherbs and Phyllis Donaldson; daughter-in-law Christine Martin; son-in-law Michael Sandler; grandchildren, Kiah Sandler, Marc, Jennilee and Avery Martin; nieces, Jenny Battersby, Anne Marie, Rosemarie and Arden Probherbs; nephews, Ralph, Derek and Jeffrey Donaldson. He was predeceased by his parents, Justina and Felix Martin. Jacks funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 24 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Marys Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Ave. with Deacon Rudy LeMaitre officiating. Our family wishes to thank all the staff at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Facility for the professional care and comfort extended to Jack. In his three weeks at the hospital, he praised their every effort.
